What’s you favorite classic book?
I have many classic books that I want to read this year. I honestly hate to admit that I haven’t read them yet. I’m trying to add more classics to my tbr list because I honestly enjoy them and I feel like I always get something great from reading them.
My TBR Classics this year:
Little Women, War and Peace, Sense and Sensibility and Call of the Wild
I love keeping my track of reading books and I love this Harry Potter book log to help. My love for books and Harry Potter come together in one.
Book Mail is one of the best days ever! I love opening my door to a package full of new books to read and review! Thank you so much to @penguinrandomhouse for all these amazing books!
For the month of September I read romantic comedies but now that it’s October, and my favorite month of the year, I’m only reading thrillers. Thrillers and suspense novels are my favorite. Here are a few thrillers I’ve read and absolutely loved. What are some thrillers you have enjoyed?
I have been on a Christina Lauren kick lately. I read The Unhoneymooners back in May and loved it. I decided to take a break from thrillers this month and ready some romantic comedies and I figured the best place to start was with Christina Lauren books. Let’s just say that I was hooked. I read Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating and loved it. I fell in love with Hazel. She was smart and witty and completely okay with being herself. I then read My Favorite Half Night Stand and loved both Millie and Reid and their relationship. I also felt like Millie was extremely relatable. I then read Roomies and love the light feel of it and who doesn’t like to read about a nice looking Irish man. 😂 I was able to get into all of these books within a couple of chapters and had a hard time putting them down. My favorite of hers is still The Unhoneymooners because I just loved Olive. If you haven’t read any of her books then I definitely encourage you to pick one up now.
I can’t believe it’s already July. I feel like this summer is going by so fast, but I’m not complaining. I have three kiddos at home this summer and while I love them I am counting down until school starts back. 😂 I have read so many great books so far this summer but these two books have been my favorite summer reads so far. The Unhoneymooners by Christina lauren was an easy, fast paced, hilarious book that I had a hard time putting down. I caught myself laughing out loud through out this book. The setting takes place in Hawaii with an amazing character named Olive and a chiseled man named Nate. They have a funny back and forth witty relationship. You see there friendship/relationship unfold and it takes you on a fun ride. My next favorite book I’ve read this summer is The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda. This is more of a thriller/suspense summer read and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It focuses around a friendship between Avery and Sadie who are inseparable until Sadie is found dead. While the police rule it as a suicide, Avery must uncover what really happened to her best friend. If you have time this summer to read then I highly recommend both of these books.
