The Wife Who Knew Too Much by Michelle Campbell- Book Review

Thank you to #partner @stmartinspress for gifting me this book. This is my first read by Michele Campbell. I started her book The Stranger on the Beach but never finished it. 😬 This book, I could not put down and I was hooked from the first page to the last. It took me on a wild ride and never knew where to look for the who done it. I really enjoyed the characters and all the secret and lies involved with them. If you want to read a great mystery suspense then definitely add this one to your book list! I haven’t read her previous book Stranger on Beach but have now added it to my tbr list! The Wife Who Knew Too Much will be out late July so be looking for it! I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Don’t Look for Me by Wendy Walker- Book Review

This book was so good! I couldn’t put it down and read it in two nights. I loved all the crazy twist and turns that were in this story. I enjoyed the characters and felt they were extremely relatable which made me love it even more. I couldn’t imagine everything the main character Molly had do endure. Plus the twist at the end had me on the edge of my seat! The story was so well written and the author left no stone unturned. It was a roller coast of emotions to say the least. This is a must read so definitely put it on your tbr list! Thank you to MacMillan Book and St Martin’s press for this ARC. This book will be published September 15th. I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center- Book Review

I had some catching up to do with Katherine Centers’s books. I read Things You Save in a Fire first because I was given the ARC through Net Galley and St. Martin’s Press. I read this book in two nights because I couldn’t put it down and loved it. I was immediately loved the main character Cassie, she was strong, capable and knew exactly what she wanted…until a hot young Rookie firefighter stepped into her life. I loved that she came a little damaged because that made her even more relatable. She wasn’t perfect, she had a back story and that made her even more like able. Also picturing what that Rookie looked like and his sense of humor and likable also helped. I loved this story and so glad I was able to read it. I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It was the perfect book to read in between my usual thrillers.

The Mother in Law by Sally Hepworth- Book Review

Thank you to Net Galley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC to read and review. I really enjoyed this book. I felt like the characters were easy to like and the story was intriguing. I really enjoyed the main character Lucy, and felt like she was extremely easy to relate to. She seemed like an every day normal person that has felt like there was a little tension with her in-laws. It was fun to see this story take all the twist and turns and the endings was definitely a surprise which I did not see coming. I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It’s a quick fast pace read that keeps you intrigued the whole time. I will definitely be reading more books by Sally Hepworth.

Keeping Lucy by T. Greenwood-Book Review

Oh this book pulled at so many heartstrings. I can’t imagine being in a situation where my husband and his family choose to take my child away from me because she has down syndrome. I can’t imagine being lied to by the people I trust the most. This book will bring on so many emotions but also shows that there is nothing a mother won’t do for her child. I loved this book so much and would highly recommend it. While there are a few things in this book that are far-fetched, the story as a whole is absolutely beautiful. It’s a quick read but it will stay with you days after reading it. I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This story is based on true events which makes it even more moving. It will be published August 6th. The First Mistake by Sandie Jones- Book Review

I was sent this book by Minotaur Books and St. Marin’s Press before this book was published and just want to say thank you! This was the first book I’ve read by Sandie Jones and it definitely won’t be my last- I loved it. From page one to the last page, I couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters and the story. The ending was a complete shocker and mind blowing. I had to re-read the last chapter just to make sure that what I read was right. The main character Alice is relatable and easy to like. She has a normal life, so the thinks, and is working to move past the grief of losing her first husband. While her friend, Beth, is single and raising her daughter alone, there is something that draws them together and the secret is perfect. I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
