The Wife Who Knew Too Much by Michelle Campbell- Book Review

Thank you to #partner @stmartinspress for gifting me this book. This is my first read by Michele Campbell. I started her book The Stranger on the Beach but never finished it. 😬 This book, I could not put down and I was hooked from the first page to the last. It took me on a wild ride and never knew where to look for the who done it. I really enjoyed the characters and all the secret and lies involved with them. If you want to read a great mystery suspense then definitely add this one to your book list! I haven’t read her previous book Stranger on Beach but have now added it to my tbr list! The Wife Who Knew Too Much will be out late July so be looking for it! I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier- Book Review

I’m late to the game on this one but definitely better late then never. This is a 5⭐ read for me! It was the perfect mystery/suspense/thrill that I wanted. The story was intriguing and the characters were both flawed and real. This book is so we’ll written, the storyline never slowed down, it was powerful and hits you hard from the beginning to the end. Bookstagram made me read this one because I was seeing it every where and I’m so glad I read it. I have been craving the rawness and darkness of a good thriller and this was it. This really is the perfect mystery thriller and it’s an absolute must read!

Half Way Through The Year

Let me start by apologizing that I haven’t kept up with my reading blog like I should have. As I’m sure with everyone, 2020 has felt like Stephen King novel. I have three children whom have been home with me constantly since beginning of March. Let just say that my house has felt more like Azkaban with the dementors being my three precious kids. Thankfully I still have good books and plenty of wine. Now that summer is officially here we are slowly making our way out of the house (very little and with face masks always on). I hope you all are staying safe and sound as well has your families. Since we are officially half way through the year ( I can’t believe it’s July…is that Christmas music I hear? 😂) I decided to get back into the saddle and make a point to start posting again. I have continued to read so many amazing books this year and can’t wait to share them with y’all again. 🍷Here is to a better second half of the year! 🍷

Hello!

My name is Anna and I love books, wine, cats, wine, Harry Potter, and also wine. That’s me in a nutshell.

I fell in love with reading when I read the Harry Potter series in high school. A friend gave me a copy of the first book and the magic began. After that I couldn’t help but read. I remember getting called out during class at school because I was caught reading a book instead of listening to the lesson being taught.

Now, I try to read as much as possible while working from home and raising three children. I love fiction, suspense/thrillers, and a little comedy/romance mixed in.
